Jiu Jitsu North Jersey (formerly known as Otimo BJJ) is located at 134 Hopper Ave (upstairs at the Superdome) in Waldwick, NJ. For the past 10 years, we have been delivering world-class instruction in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kids Martial Arts, Kickboxing, and Private Jiu Jitsu and Personal Training. Recognized as Bergen County's top academy for both kids and adults, we proudly serve students from Waldwick, Ridgewood, Ramsey, Wyckoff, Allendale, and the surrounding communities.
Meet Your Head Instructor
Our head instructor is Chad Chalileh — former New Jersey State Wrestling Champion, BJJ Black Belt, and a martial artist with an impressive 35 years of experience on the mat. What sets Chad apart isn't just his résumé. It's his commitment to continuously showing up as a student himself, training alongside others so he can stay sharp — mentally, physically, and emotionally — and bring his best to every class he teaches.
